XANDY is the data acquisition system, power controller and monitoring unit for the Diamond XBPM? detector. It provides the measurement of the 4 quadrants, A, B, C, D of the XBPM? detector as well as the intensity and relative position of the X-ray beam in x and y at experimental beam lines of Synchrotron Light Sources. Results are transferred from the embedded Linux-based device server via Ethernet to the control system or to the desktop, where the browser-based GUI provides easy access to the data for on-line monitoring.
